MAd Reach- Tsunami Restaurant & Sushi Bar - Ratings

Can’t attest to the freshness of the seafood because I’m allergic, but the vegetarian options are delicious. The bento boxes are great as well. Like any quality sushi restaurant, it is on the pricey side, but nothing beats good, fresh, wholesome food. Been going since 2010 and lots has changed in the interior, but the food is still great. Would recommend to at least try!

We were immediately seated when we got there. The restaurant was very cozy and inviting and the wait staff was very pleasant. This was our first time there and our waitress was incredibly helpful, she explained the menu without over explaining anything, she answered all our questions and knew what she was talking about, she offered a few suggestions for what to eat and went to grab our drinks. Our waitress checked on us regularly and kept our drinks full, our food was brought to us very quickly and everything tastes amazing. Overall this was a very pleasant experience and I would defiantly suggest it to all my friends

My boyfriend and I visited this location a little while ago and I was so impressed by how great the staff treated us. We asked for a booth and it was clearly super busy and none were available but the host or manager came and got us when one was made available which really made my night. Sometimes I just love chowing down on some yummy food while I'm super comfortable in the corner... Thanks so much!

We just finished an amazing meal! Brandt, our chef, and Madsen, our server, were cordial, very polite and checked on us often. We had seats at the bar and it was awesome to watch our food getting made with care and artistry. Everything arrived in great time even during dinner rush, and it was more than delicious. This is our new favorite place. Highly recommend Tsunami.

Service: Very welcoming and quick table turn around. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Food: DELICIOUS! The picture shows vegetarian options but all rolls had their unique flavor (crunchy and spicy) which made all the rolls very tasty. (Top to bottom: Hot Mamba, Popeye, Honey Badger, and RF Snacker). Tory, itamaesan, provided very tasty and unique vegetarian rolls for my wife and I. Overall: I would recommend this place to vegetarians because of the large number of rolls available and the flavor. I will be coming back soon!

Fresh yes, fast...depends on the time of the day. Service is okay. Intermittent quality at times and depends on the server. We go there often and we love the Catalina, California, and Vegas rolls. Absolutely love the Gyoza appetizer and the tempura veggie platter. A bit on the expensive side, but I'd rather pay more knowing that they use fresh fish. And they do. Fish is not supposed to smell if fresh. I was about 6 feet from where they were preparing the rolls. No smell at all.

Definitely fresh and fast. Busy though. Come on a less busy night. Executive Suite and Rainbow roll were the rolls I ordered. I’m a lady with a big appetite and these hit the spot. Husband got the cococabana, executive suite, and Tsunami roll. He said all three were exceptional.

First time experiencing a sushi restaurant and it was delicious. Service was slow but our waitress was helpful explaining the rolls and giving suggestions. The Hawaiian roll and Don Pablo rolls were soo good. I cant wait to go back to try something new.

I'm a vegetarian and I tell all my veg friends that this place has the BEST selection of veggie rolls.. When my mom comes to visit, this place is on the top of her list. She orders actual fish, so while I can't personally speak to the sushi that include fish, I've only heard rave reviews from my family and friends. It's my go-to spot for sushi in Salt Lake City.
